Labor & Delivery RN

Overview

Contract role in Sidney, Montana.
Night shift: 18:45-07:00.
48 hours per week.
13-week contract.

Unit / Setting

Busy obstetrics department caring for women and newborns through labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.
Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
Critical Access Hospital.

Responsibilities

Care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns.
Perform triage and NSTs.
Serve as 2nd nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients.
Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals.
Support patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or recovery.
May float to Med/surg, CCU, or ER to assist.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Montana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS
NRP
STABLE
Fetal Monitoring
AWHONN
C-EFM

Additional Details

EPIC EMR.
May be placed on-call by the OB manager up to 3 times per 13-week contract if needed.
