ER Registered Nurse
Overview
- Travel/Contract assignment in West Hollywood, California
- 13-week contract
- Day shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00–19:30
- 48 hours per week
- Weekend required
- No floating
- No on-call
- October and November starts only: 10/26, 11/02, 11/16
Required Qualifications
- Valid California RN license
- Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Emergency Department experience within the last year
- ACLS issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
- PALS issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or RQI
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- IV insertion skills
- Experience with conscious or moderate sedation
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- Flu vaccine, no exemptions
- Must work 2 of the major holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas, NYE, NYD
- Extended RTO of 2+ days during holiday weeks will not be approved
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated

- Trauma and triage
Additional Requirements
- Pending license not accepted
- Government-issued photo ID
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Drug screen within 1 year of start
- 2 professional references, including 1 supervisory reference
- Pass/fail testing and competency testing required during orientation
- Fire card required within the first 6 months of working at the facility
- Photo for badge required before start
- Acknowledgement of pass/fail testing
- State license verification
- Medication test during orientation
- Background check and education verification required
