RN MS/Tele
Overview
- Travel/Contract role in Rochester, New York
- Night shift: 7p-7a, 4x12 hours
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Every other weekend required
- Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
- First-time travelers accepted
- Locals within 75 miles are not accepted
- Will be assigned to the MS/Tele unit at time of offer
- Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months
- Floating required within skillset
- Ratio: 1:5 to 1:7
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New York
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience
- BLS issued by the American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Experience in an acute care setting
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response, including dysrhythmia interpretation/management and Rapid Response/Code team activation
- IV therapy/phlebotomy, including peripheral line care/management
- Nasal cannula, oxygen administration/tanks, and non-invasive airway management
- Isolation precautions
- Experience with Epic
