Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Emergency Room (ER) team in Bakersfield, CA. This is a night shift position ideal for nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and are committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Shift Details:
Nights (12-hour shifts)
Flexible contract lengths available
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a busy ER setting
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Respond quickly to emergency situations with critical thinking and clinical expertise
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Requirements:
Active California RN license (or compact eligibility if applicable)
Minimum 3 years of ER experience strongly preferred
Current certifications required:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Experience with Cerner EMR required
Epic experience a plus
