Travel Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) | Rochester, NY

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) team in Rochester, New York. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Position Overview
Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Level II Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based patient care in accordance with established clinical standards. This role includes an expanded scope of responsibility, which may involve serving as a charge nurse, preceptor, or participating in unit-based committees.

Schedule

Rotating shifts: Days / Evenings / Nights
Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
Participation in holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties based on unit needs

Key Responsibilities

Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centered care
Utilize clinical judgment and evidence-based practice in care delivery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Support professional development and contribute to a culture of service excellence
Take on leadership responsibilities as needed (charge nurse, preceptor, etc.)

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – New York State (NY ONLY)
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
Telemetry experience required
Current BLS certification (AHA ONLY)
