Description
As an ED RN, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice to assess, prioritize, and treat patients in a dynamic emergency setting. You will coordinate care across multiple disciplines, develop and implement individualized care plans, monitor patient progress, and respond quickly to changing patient conditions while ensuring the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.
In this role, you will also supervise and delegate responsibilities to nursing support staff, educate patients and their families, collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams, and participate in discharge planning to promote continuity of care. The ideal candidate is confident managing high-acuity patients, thrives under pressure, and is committed to delivering compassionate emergency care.
Candidates must hold an active California Registered Nurse (RN) license and current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. Previous acute care or emergency department experience is preferred, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is considered an advantage.
If you're an experienced travel ED nurse looking for your next rewarding assignment in California, apply today with Tripod Partners and take the next step in your travel nursing career.
