Tripod Partners is seeking an experienced Travel Med/Surg RN for an opportunity in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. This position is within an Internal Medicine setting caring for an adult and geriatric patient population aged 18 and older.

The RN will work day shifts and provide care for a diverse range of medical patients, including those with CHF, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, AKI/CKD, diabetes, cardiac conditions, infections, electrolyte disorders, GI/GU conditions, post-operative needs, stroke and other neurological conditions, and general medical diagnoses. Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are approximately 1:4–1:6 depending on patient acuity.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of acute-care Med/Surg experience and be comfortable working with IV pumps, telemetry, PCA, blood products, and central lines. Experience with cardiac and vasoactive drips, insulin and heparin drips, and ventilator monitoring or management is preferred and may be required depending on the assigned unit.

The facility utilizes Epic, telemetry, bedside monitoring, smart IV pumps, and automated medication dispensing, with Epic experience preferred. The RN may be required to float to appropriate Med/Surg or acute-care units based on staffing needs, with any call requirements to be confirmed.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
