NorTek Medical Staffing is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Professinal in Monterey, California, that specializes in addiction recovery and comprehensive mental health treatment. The organization supports individuals managing conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, and co-occurring disorders, helping clients achieve long-term recovery and build fulfilling, productive lives.
The client offers a structured outpatient alternative to residential treatment, including:
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): 3 hours per day
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): 6 hours per day
They are seeking a full-time, on-site Therapist to join their multidisciplinary clinical team. This role is ideal for a compassionate, clinically strong professional dedicated to ethical, client-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to adult clients
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary treatment team to support client progress and recovery goals
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Monitor client progress and perform ongoing clinical evaluations
Provide crisis intervention and emotional support as needed
Uphold high standards of clinical ethics, professionalism, and compassionate care
Qualifications
Active California license as a Mental Health Professional (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or equivalent)
Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
Experience in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and clinical evaluation
Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Experience with addiction recovery and co-occurring disorders strongly preferred
Background in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention is a plus
