Description
Position Summary
The Registered Nurse will provide direct clinical care in a detoxification and residential treatment environment, supporting patients recovering from substance use and co-occurring disorders. This role focuses on withdrawal monitoring, medication administration, safety oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure patient stability and recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered nursing care in detox and residential settings
Conduct assessments including withdrawal and risk evaluations
Administer medications, including MAT protocols
Monitor physical and behavioral status changes
Document care accurately in EMR
Respond to medical/behavioral emergencies
Perform wellness and safety checks
Coordinate with providers and clinical teams
Educate patients on medications and recovery care
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
Active Wisconsin RN license
CPR/BLS certification
Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
EMR proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in detox, behavioral health, or substance use treatment
ACLS, CARN, or related certifications
New grads with addiction/mental health interest encouraged
