Job Title: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse
Location: JACKSON, MI 49201
Hours Per Week: 36.00 (3*12)
Shift Time: NIGHT SHIFT 7PM - 7AM Every other weekend required
Schedule Notes: 12 week contract length
**REQUIRED: Minimum 2 years L&D experience, BLS, Advanced EFM certification, NRP certification
** IMPORTANT: AWHONN's fetal hear monitoring courses don't lead to advanced EFM certification. Advanced EFM certification will need to be obtained separately and listed on resume for consideration.

Pay: $2325.24 / Week

Job Summary: The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stabilization. This role supports safe maternal and neonatal outcomes through skilled assessment, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with the obstetric care team.

Responsibilities
• Provide intrapartum nursing care including maternal and fetal assessment and monitoring.
• Assist with labor management, deliveries, and obstetric emergencies.
• Administer medications and interventions per obstetric protocols.
• Support patient and family education related to labor and delivery.
• Document nursing care accurately and communicate clinical changes to the care team.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience – Required
• Advanced Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification – Required
• AWHONN fetal heart monitoring courses do NOT meet this requirement; Advanced EFM certification must be obtained separately and listed on the resume
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification – Required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – Required

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

Certifications
