Certification/Education Required: Must have BLS, ACLS, and NRP certs.
Candidates without these certs will be rejected
Additional Skills/Information: MUST have 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience. Post-Partum experience Required.

Job Summary: The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stabilization. This role supports safe maternal and neonatal outcomes through skilled assessment, fetal monitoring, and collaboration with the obstetric care team.

Responsibilities
• Provide intrapartum nursing care including maternal and fetal assessment and monitoring.
• Assist with labor management, deliveries, and obstetric emergencies.
• Administer medications and interventions according to obstetric protocols.
• Support immediate postpartum care and patient education.
• Document nursing care accurately and communicate clinical changes to the care team.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience – Required
• Postpartum experience – Required
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications – Required (candidates without these will be rejected)
• Ability to work 3×12 night shifts (7 PM–7 AM); shift hours are fixed

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

License: Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required

Certifications
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – Required
