Location: Long Island City, NY 11102
Hours Per Week: 40.00 (5*8)
Shift Time: Days (8-4, 9-5, 10-6)
Schedule Notes: May float to: Urology/Vascular chemo instillation experience needed.
Contract: 13 weeks

Job Summary: The Urology Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients receiving urologic and related ambulatory services. This role supports safe treatment delivery, patient education, and coordination of care within a specialty outpatient setting.

Responsibilities
• Provide nursing care for urology patients, including assessments and treatment support.
• Assist with urologic procedures and related clinical interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and protocols.
• Educate patients on procedures, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Document nursing care accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.

Requirements
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience – Required
• Med/Surg and/or ambulatory care experience – Preferred
• Urology and vascular chemotherapy instillation experience – Required
• Ability to float within urology-related services as needed
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required

Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required

License: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License – Required
