Travel Physical Therapist – Home Health | Solano County, CA | $2,499/week
Location: Solano County, California
Start Date: ASAP (Quick Start)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours per week | Saturday – Wednesday | Day Shift
Weekly Gross Pay: $2,499.00 ($840.00 Taxable + $1,659.00 Non-Taxable Stipends)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly professional and independent Physical Therapist for a 13-week Home Health assignment in Solano County, CA. This role is designed for a clinician who excels in a field-based environment, demonstrating mastery in patient evaluations and start-of-care (SOC) procedures. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload within the territory while providing clinical leadership and oversight to support staff.
Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a currently active Physical Therapist (PT) license for the State of California.
Experience: Minimum of 2 year of recent clinical experience specifically in a Home Health setting.
Supervision: Proven ability and willingness to supervise Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs).
Responsiveness: Must be responsive during normal business hours and adhere to mandatory reporting timelines.
Traveler Status: Candidate must be a non-local traveler (typically residing more than 50 miles from the facility).
Key Responsibilities:
Home Health Visits: Deliver high-quality therapeutic services, prioritizing Start of Care (SOC) visits to ensure timely patient intake.
Productivity & Reporting: Meet a productivity requirement of 30 points per week, with mandatory next-day reporting for all SOC visits.
Clinical Supervision: Provide professional guidance and supervision for PTAs to ensure adherence to care plans.
Documentation Mastery: Complete all clinical notes and documentation within 48 hours of visit using the Kinnser EMR system.
Communication: Maintain proactive and timely communication with the Clinical Supervisor, intake department, and office staff.
Important Assignment Notes:
Territory: Primary coverage in Solano County, with an expectation to expand territory as needed.
Schedule: This position requires a Saturday through Wednesday schedule.
Scope of Work: The clinician must be adaptable to additional duties as requested by clinical leadership to meet patient needs.
