Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and highly professional Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment in Alameda, CA. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working in a rehabilitation setting and is looking for a guaranteed 30-hour weekly schedule. You will be responsible for evaluating patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering high-quality therapeutic services aimed at improving functional independence and quality of life.
Non-Negotiable Required Qualifications:
Please note: Candidates who do not meet 100% of the following criteria will not be considered for this role.
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a currently active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the State of California.
Education: Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Urgency: Immediate start required (ASAP).
Traveler Status: Candidate must be a non-local traveler (typically residing more than 50 miles from the facility).
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluations & Assessments: Conduct thorough patient evaluations to determine physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs.
Therapeutic Intervention: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans to help patients recover and improve skills for daily living.
Clinical Excellence: Provide hands-on therapy, including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and training in the use of adaptive equipment.
Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, including COTAs and PTs, to ensure comprehensive and goal-oriented patient care.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with facility standards and state regulations.
