🌴 Travel Triple-Registered Ultrasound Tech | Waimea & Kapa’a, HI 🌴
This 13-week assignment is designed for a highly autonomous expert. You will be supporting the HHSC Kaua’i Region, which means while your primary base is KVMH in the sunny, dry Westside (Waimea), you will also provide coverage at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital (SMMH) on the lush Eastside (Kapa’a).

🌓 Shift: Rotating Days & Nights (40 Hours Guaranteed)

⚠️ Proximity Rule: You must reside within 20 minutes of the hospital when on-call.

🩺 Role Highlights
Multidisciplinary Mastery: Independently perform and provide technical summaries for General (Abdomen/OB), Vascular (Carotid/Venous), and Adult Echocardiography studies.

Rural Independence: In a 25-bed critical access environment like KVMH, you are the primary diagnostic eyes for the ER and inpatient units. You must be comfortable working without immediate peer support.

Dual-Campus Flex: You will navigate the unique needs of two different facilities—KVMH handles more acute trauma and surgical cases, while SMMH has a heavy focus on long-term care and psychiatric services alongside its ER.

📋 Mandatory Requirements
Certification: Must hold active ARDMS (RDMS, RVT, and RDCS) credentials. All three are non-negotiable for this role.

Experience: Significant experience in all three modalities is required. Rural or critical access experience is highly preferred.

Licensure: You will need a Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist License (even as a sonographer, HHSC often requires this for compliance).

CPR: Current AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
