Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – PCU
Location: Columbia, MO
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Shift: 12 Hour Nights
Unit: Stepdown (Floating required)
Patient Types: Surgical, medical, and occasional neuro patients.
Equipment: Bladder scanners, IV pumps, PCA pumps, SCDs, BiPAP, CPAP, Optiflow, Vapotherm, Airvo.
Drips: Titration of vasoactive drips including Neo-Synephrine, Amiodarone, and Cardizem.
Ratio: 1:3 (not guaranteed).
Required Skills: IV insertion, PICC/Central line care, vascular access management, dialysis fistula care, A-line management, CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, PCA/epidural pumps, feeding tubes, wound VAC.
Preferred Skills: CVP monitoring, 12-lead EKG, sheath removal, cardioversion/defibrillation.
