Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days – 0600 to 1830 (7 shifts per pay period)
Hours: 36 hours/week

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in a culturally diverse and community-focused healthcare setting.

The Clinical Nurse will perform a wide range of patient care activities requiring professional nursing judgment, adherence to clinical standards, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients and their families
Perform patient assessments, implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-care instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care

Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Active RN License (any U.S. state accepted)
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
Certifications required:
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
NIHSS
Must complete within 6 months:
Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation (P-CAR)
NIH Stroke Scale certification
