Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Provide triage, treatment, and accurate documentation
Deliver emergency care using critical thinking and sound clinical judgment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for patient care coordination, transfers, and discharges
Educate patients and families based on individual needs and conditions
Identify and address communication barriers (cultural, psychosocial, etc.)
Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
Required Qualifications:
Active Colorado RN License or Compact License
Minimum 2 years of hospital nursing experience
At least 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) or Critical Care experience (preferred)
Required Certifications:
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ENPC
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
STABLE Certification
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
