Position Overview

Join a 6-bed ICU unit delivering critical care to patients in a supportive and collaborative setting. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a focused environment with strong teamwork and patient-centered care.

Schedule
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: Early May
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality critical care nursing to ICU patients
Monitor and manage complex patient conditions
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Respond effectively to emergent situations
Patient Ratio
1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
Requirements
Active RN license
Minimum 4 years of ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Important Notes
Candidates must be submitted through agencies approved by the Louisiana Department of Health
Agency must be Joint Commission accredited
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the job location (no exceptions)
