Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Med-Surg/Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves delivering direct patient care across a variety of units while utilizing the nursing process and adhering to established standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver age-specific, direct patient care using the nursing process
Monitor and manage patients in Med-Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, and related units
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and clinical protocols
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Provide leadership by delegating tasks to support staff appropriately
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and organizational regulations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (must be obtained prior to start if not already active)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) certifications required
De-escalation training required prior to contract start (or scheduled before orientation)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment
Preferred Experience
Experience Minimum 2 years of experienced required in Med-Surg, Telemetry, Step-Down, or Critical Care settings
Comfort working with diverse patient populations, including adult and pediatric patients
Additional Information
EMR System: CPSI/Evident
No on-call requirement
Compliance with all credentialing and onboarding requirements is mandatory
