🌟 Travel RN – Medical Oncology | Day Shift | 13 Weeks Contract 🌟

📍 Location: Hilo, HI 96720
⏳ Duration: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Day Shift (Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

🏥 Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments. The RN will provide direct patient care, monitor treatment responses, and educate patients and families throughout their care journey.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

✔ Active Hawaii RN License
✔ Strong oncology nursing experience
✔ Proficiency in chemotherapy and infusion therapy administration
✔ Experience with central lines (PICC, Port-a-Cath, Hickman)
✔ EPIC EMR experience required

📌 Experience Required:

✔ Minimum 3 years of RN experience
✔ Oncology experience required
✔ Experience in infusion/chemo administration preferred

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
• Perform venipuncture and manage central lines
• Monitor patient response to treatments and report changes
• Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, and care plans
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of hazardous drugs
• Verify informed consent prior to treatment administration
• Collaborate with oncology providers and interdisciplinary teams

CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #296122. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
