🩺 Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for a Surgical Unit. The RN will provide high-quality care to adult patients undergoing pre- and post-operative treatment, ensuring safe and effective patient outcomes in an acute care environment.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

✔ Active Hawaii RN License (required by start date)
✔ BLS & ACLS Certifications (required)
✔ Strong pre/post-operative surgical experience
✔ Experience with drains, chest tubes, and post-surgical care
✔ Ability to manage multiple patients efficiently

📌 Experience Required:

✔ Minimum 3 years Med-Surg experience
✔ Experience in surgical units (preferred)
✔ Strong acute care background

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process
• Deliver pre-operative and post-operative care
• Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing
• Educate patients and families on recovery and care plans
