📍 Location: Gunnison, CO 81230
⏳ Duration: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: 3–4 Days/Week (10-Hour Shifts) + On-Call
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 30 Hours/Week

🏥 Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a surgical services team, providing comprehensive care during pre-operative and post-operative phases. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient responses, ensuring safe recovery from anesthesia, and delivering high-quality perioperative care.

✅ Must-Have Skills:

✔ Active Colorado RN License
✔ Strong PACU / post-anesthesia care experience
✔ Experience in perioperative patient management
✔ Ability to monitor and respond to physiological changes
✔ Strong critical thinking and patient care skills

📌 Experience Required:

✔ Minimum 3 years of RN experience
✔ PACU or surgical services experience required

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Monitor patient recovery from anesthesia
• Assess and manage patient pain and complications
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
• Ensure compliance with surgical care standards
• Participate in ongoing training and education
