🌙 Behavioral Health RN – Nights | Centreville, IL | 13-Week Contract 🏥

📍 Location: Centreville, Illinois
⏳ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
✅ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
👥 Openings: 3 Positions
💻 EMR: Meditech

Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric behavioral health patients.
Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
Monitor patients for safety risks, behavioral changes, and crisis situations.
Implement physician orders and administer medications accurately.
Maintain therapeutic communication and build rapport with psychiatric patients.
Conduct and facilitate group therapy sessions as assigned.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and care conferences.
Monitor and document patient status according to precaution and observation levels.
Ensure a safe environment by identifying and removing potential contraband.
Coordinate emergency interventions and crisis response when necessary.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge goals.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and healthcare team members.

Requirements:
✔ Active Illinois RN License
✔ Minimum 3 Years of Nursing Experience
✔ Current BLS Certification
✔ CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Advanced Physical Skills (APS) – Required
✔ Experience in Adult and/or Geriatric Behavioral Health preferred
