ICU / Step-Down RN – Nights | Rockford, IL

📍 Rockford, IL
📅 Start Date: ASAP
🕒 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
⏰ Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a combined ICU and Step-Down assignment. Candidates must have strong ICU experience, preferably in a Level I Trauma Center environment, and be comfortable floating between ICU and Step-Down units as needed.

Requirements:
Active Illinois RN License
Minimum 3 years of ICU experience
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
BLS (AHA) required
ACLS required
NIHSS required
Experience in Critical Care, CVICU, CCU, Neuro ICU, or Step-Down preferred

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive critical care nursing to ICU and Step-Down patients
Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility policies
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Accurately document patient care in the EMR
Support patient safety and quality care initiatives
