CT/X-Ray Technologist

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced CT/X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will perform both diagnostic radiography and computed tomography procedures, producing high-quality images for physician interpretation while providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
Radiologic Technologist Duties
Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders.
Verify patient history and correlate clinical information with requested procedures.
Prepare and educate patients regarding imaging procedures.
Position patients appropriately to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Select and operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently.
Determine appropriate exposure techniques while minimizing radiation exposure.
Evaluate image quality and ensure proper patient identification.
Assist physicians with fluoroscopic and specialized interventional procedures.
Administer contrast media and medications as permitted by state regulations and facility policy.
Maintain aseptic technique and infection prevention standards.
Initiate basic life support measures when necessary.

Requirements:
✅ Minimum 3 years of CT/X-Ray experience
✅ Active Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) License
✅ ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R)
✅ ARRT Computed Tomography Certification (CT)
✅ Current BLS Certification
✅ Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
