🚨 Travel RN Float Pool Assignment – Rockford, IL 🚨

📍 Location: Rockford, Illinois
📅 Start Date: ASAP
🗓️ Contract Length: 13 Weeks
🕒 Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
⏱️ Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
🎉 Holiday Coverage: Required

We are seeking an experienced RN for a Float Pool assignment supporting ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke/Neuro, and Medical-Surgical units. Candidates must have ICU experience and be comfortable floating to lower-acuity units, including Med-Surg, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care across ICU, Step-Down, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke/Neuro, and Med-Surg units.
• Complete patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, and document care accurately.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans and discharge needs.
• Use critical thinking to support patient safety, clinical escalation, and positive patient outcomes.
• Float between assigned units based on facility needs.

Requirements:
• Active Illinois RN license
• Minimum 3 years of relevant RN experience required
• Strong ICU and extensive cardiac nursing experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Epic EMR experience preferred
