**Travel Med-Surg RN | Colorado**
**8-Week Contract | Night Shift | Salida, CO**

**Work where others vacation!** We're seeking an experienced **Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse** for an exciting travel assignment in the beautiful mountain town of **Salida, Colorado**.

**Requirements:**
• Active **Colorado RN License**
• Current **BLS** Certification
• Minimum **3 year of Med-Surg experience**
• **ACLS & PALS**
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN
• Experience with **CPSI/Evident EMR**

**Assignment Details:**
• **8-week contract**
• **Night Shift:** 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• No mandatory overtime (overtime available)
• W-2 employment only (No 1099)

**Responsibilities:**
• Provide evidence-based Med-Surg and Swing Bed patient care
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely
• Monitor patient conditions and evaluate treatment effectiveness
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Deliver culturally competent, patient-centered care
