Position Overview

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment. The technologist will perform MRI procedures while providing efficient, high-quality patient care. GE equipment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures
Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently
Ensure high-quality diagnostic images
Verify patient information and imaging orders
Follow MRI safety procedures and screening protocols
Provide appropriate patient care before, during, and after examinations
Monitor patients throughout procedures
Maintain accurate documentation
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Follow department policies, safety standards, and quality requirements
Troubleshoot basic equipment issues when appropriate
Requirements

✅ ARRT Registered
✅ BLS certification required
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience
✅ MRI Technologist experience
✅ GE MRI equipment experience preferred
✅ Graduate of an approved two-year Radiology training program
✅ High school diploma or equivalent
✅ Strong patient-care and communication skills

Schedule & Assignment Details
Evening shifts
4 shifts per week
8-hour and 12-hour shifts
Every weekend required
36 hours/week guaranteed
13-week contract
Holiday coverage required
EPIC EMR
No on-call requirement
