Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The Pharmacist will provide direct patient care to a diverse patient population, including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.

Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services
Review, evaluate, and manage medication therapy
Provide direct clinical pharmacy services to patients
Support both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations
Ensure medication services comply with organizational policies and procedures
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Provide medication-related education to patients and healthcare staff
Monitor medication therapy and patient responses
Participate in quality improvement and clinical pharmacy initiatives
Support specialized pharmacy services as assigned
Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation
Follow applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
Support pharmacy programs and activities to promote high-quality patient care
Requirements

✅ Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
✅ Degree from a school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
✅ Current, valid, unrestricted U.S. Pharmacist license
✅ BLS certification from the American Heart Association
✅ Minimum 3 years of Registered Pharmacist experience
✅ Minimum 2 year of Clinical Pharmacist experience
✅ Ability to provide care across multiple patient populations
✅ Strong clinical judgment and medication-management skills
✅ Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Schedule & Assignment Details
7 days on / 7 days off rotation
Wednesday–Tuesday work week
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–9:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 8:00 AM–7:00 PM
13-week contract
Holiday coverage required
No on-call requirement
Allscripts EMR
No guaranteed hours
Additional Requirements
Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared before start
Orientation occurs every 2 weeks
COVID & flu exemptions may be accepted after submission of the required declination form
Housing application must be submitted 2 weeks prior to the start date
Must maintain an active and unrestricted pharmacist license throughout the assignment
