Behavioral Health Clinician | Ketchikan, AK | Direct Hire
📍 Location: Ketchikan, Alaska
🩺 Specialty: Behavioral Health / Clinical Social Worker
💼 Position: Permanent Full-Time

💰 Salary: $70,000 – $120,000/year
Seeking a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide evidence-based, culturally relevant outpatient behavioral health services to individuals and families.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related discipline from an accredited institution
Experience with behavioral health assessment and diagnosis
Ability to provide assessment, treatment planning, and referrals for patients of all ages
Alaska Driver's License or ability to obtain within 6 months
BLS – American Heart Association within 3 months
Alaska LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred
Alaska Chemical Dependency Counselor I or MAC certificate/equivalent
3yrs of Experience Required
Note: Clinicians who are not yet licensed may receive clinical supervision that meets licensure requirements.
Responsibilities
Conduct behavioral health screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Provide individual, group, and family therapy
Provide crisis intervention and care coordination
Support mental health and substance use disorder interventions
Develop individualized treatment plans and treatment reviews
Provide patient education, advocacy, and motivational interviewing
Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and community agencies
Maintain timely and accurate electronic health records
Provide after-hours crisis intervention on a shared rotating basis across Haines, Klawock, Petersburg, and Wrangell
Maintain compliance with HIPAA, regulatory, and professional standards
