### ☢️ **Position Overview**
Seeking a skilled **Radiation Therapist** to provide radiation therapy services in a critical access hospital environment. The department treats approximately **10–12 patients per day** and utilizes modern radiation oncology equipment.

### ✅ **Requirements**
- **3 year of recent Radiation Therapist experience**
- Active applicable state license
- **BLS/BCLS certification**
- Radiation therapy clinical experience
- Strong patient-care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment

### 📋 **Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver radiation therapy treatments according to prescribed treatment plans
- Operate radiation therapy and imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor patients throughout treatment and respond to clinical needs
- Follow radiation safety and quality-assurance procedures
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, dosimetrists, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate treatment and patient documentation
- Ensure proper positioning and imaging during treatment
- Provide patient education and emotional support throughout the treatment process
- Maintain compliance with departmental and regulatory standards

### ⭐ **Important Assignment Details**
- **32 guaranteed hours/week**
- Facility may cancel up to **3 shifts during the 13-week assignment**, and guaranteed hours will not apply to cancelled shifts
- **Flu vaccine required; no exceptions**
- **100-mile radius rule:** Candidates must not have a permanent address within 100 miles of the facility
- Maximum **3 days of RTO** may be requested during the 13-week contract
