### 🩺 **Position Overview**
Seeking an experienced **Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse** with cardiovascular intervention and critical-care experience. The ideal candidate will have experience working in **Interventional Radiology at a Level I Trauma Center** and be comfortable providing care to complex patients.

### ✅ **Requirements**
- **3+ years of RN experience**
- At least **1 year of critical-care experience**
- **Cardiovascular Intervention experience required**
- Active **Illinois RN license** at time of submission
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- **BLS/CPR**
- **ACLS**
- **PALS**
- **NIHSS**
- Successful completion of an **EKG test** before completing orientation
- Strong critical-thinking and patient-care skills

### 📋 **Key Responsibilities**
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Provide nursing care in the Interventional Radiology environment
- Administer medications and treatments according to established standards
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Recognize patient-safety concerns and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Manage complex clinical situations and delegate tasks appropriately
- Participate in quality-improvement and shared-governance activities
- Support evidence-based practice and professional nursing development

- **40 guaranteed hours/week**
- Day shift
- On-call rotation includes **weeknights, weekends, and holidays**
- Call pay: **$3/hour pager**
- Minimum 2-hour call-back
- Holiday coverage required
- W-2 position
