Description

New Opportunity for School Year 2026-27 near DeSoto, TX in the DFW region of Texas. Join our team at Allied Support for Kids as an Educational Diagnostician. We’re looking for previous experience in a special education setting primarily working with testing, analyzing and working with IEPs (individualized education plans),Working collaboratively with faculty and parents and a strong desire to connect with your students are also key factors to be successful in this role. Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing are required. Key Details: *Must be licensed in state of Texas, or eligible, to work as an Ed Diag *Master's Degree in Education or similarly approved degree *Passing score on the TExES 253 exam *Completion of practicum hours at a TEA accredited school site (160 hours) Job Duties: *Assessment and Evaluation *ARD Facilitation *IEP Support *Consultation with faculty and parents *Compliance: maintain confidentiality and up to date documentation
