Description
- Provide instruction and support to special education students (resource/inclusion) in high school setting.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 28 students.
- Teach 4 resource classes and 3 inclusion classes; oversee paraeducator supporting inclusion content.
- Utilize Math Composite certification in instruction and planning.
- Develop and adapt curriculum, prepare lesson plans, and modify instructional materials to meet individual student needs.
- Implement and manage IEPs (Individualized Education Plans); participate in ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings.
- Collaborate with faculty, administration, and parents/guardians for student success.
- Address intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth of students.
- Attend meetings and complete reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain effective communication and strong organizational skills.
- Work full-time (38.5 hours/week) with a daily 30-minute duty-free lunch.
- Required: Bachelor’s degree, valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements, and experience in special education settings.
- Compensation: $1,312 to $1,443 per week based on experience, with potential for tax-free per diem stipends.
- Additional support: Referral rewards, license/CE/certification assistance, and transparent, supportive agency environment.
