Description
- Teach and support high school resource/inclusion special education students, focusing on English.
- Case manage approximately 28 students, overseeing IEPs and student progress.
- Teach 4 resource classes and 3 inclusion classes.
- Supervise and coordinate with a paraeducator supporting inclusion classes.
- Develop, modify, and deliver curricula and instructional materials to meet diverse student needs.
- Foster intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth in students.
- Collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and parents/guardians to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Attend meetings and complete required reports in a timely manner.
- Maintain effective written and oral communication and organizational skills.
- Full-time position: 38.5 hours/week with a 30-minute daily duty-free lunch.
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree, valid Texas teaching certificate with special education and high school English endorsement.
- Must have experience in special education settings and with IEPs, lesson planning, and behavior management.
- Compensation ranges from $1,312 to $1,443 per week, with potential for tax-free stipends.
- Support and resources provided by Ardor Health Solutions and A.S.K. (Allied Support for Kids) placement division.
