Description
ESS Clinical is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team in partnership with Denver Public Schools for the 2026–2027 school year.
Pay $69/hr W2 contracts and $79/hr 1099 contracts!
Essential Responsibilities
- Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEP goals.
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services.
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, related service providers, and families.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Document evaluations, therapy notes, progress reports, and Medicaid billing (if applicable) accurately and timely.
- Recommend adaptive equipment, assistive technology, and classroom modifications.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on individual needs.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, district, and ESS Clinical policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for students.
Required Certifications & Licensure
- ? NBCOT Certification
- ? Active Colorado Occupational Therapist License (DORA)
- ? Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Services License – School Occupational Therapist
- ? Current CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred)
- ? Successful completion of district-required background check and fingerprint clearance prior to start of employment
