United Health Services is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Methadone Maintenance Program on Memorial 4 at Binghamton General Hospital. This fast-paced outpatient setting provides care to more than 300 patients daily and plays a vital role in supporting individuals on their recovery journey. In this position, you will perform nursing assessments, administer and dose medications, manage medication inventory and delivery processes, monitor patient progress, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care. Working alongside physicians, counselors, and interdisciplinary team members, you will help ensure the safe and effective delivery of treatment while building meaningful relationships with patients. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a high-volume, high-responsibility environment and possess exceptional organizational skills, clinical judgment, and attention to detail. Success in this position requires the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain strict regulatory compliance, accurately handle controlled substances, and communicate effectively with both patients and care team members. Schedule

• Day shift
• 8-hour shifts
• Monday through Friday with rotating Saturday coverage

Education/Experience

Minimum Required:

• A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
• Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting

License/Certification

Minimum Required:

• Current NYS RN License

Preferred:

• Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
• Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.

Work Environment

• Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.
• Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
• Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
• PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies
