Cath Lab Technologist – Dubuque, IA

Location: Dubuque, IA
Facility: UnityPoint Health – Finley Hospital
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: September 8, 2026

Schedule
Shift: Days
4x9-hour shifts
Start Time: 6:45 AM
36 hours/week
50% call required, including every other weekend and every other holiday
Job Summary

Join a busy Cardiac Cath Lab performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. The ideal candidate is experienced with coronary and peripheral interventions, proficient in fluoroscopy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment while participating in a shared call rotation.

Responsibilities
Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
Operate fluoroscopy and imaging equipment.
Assist with coronary and peripheral angiography.
Support PCI and pacemaker procedures.
Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures.
Maintain sterile technique and accurate procedural documentation.
Participate in the on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 24 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
At least one completed travel contract within the last 12 months
ARRT or RCIS Certification
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Proficient with fluoroscopy
Experience with peripheral and coronary angiography
Experience assisting with PCI and pacemaker procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Iowa Radiology License (or willingness to obtain upon offer)
Experience with Impella
Experience with Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS
Recent high-volume Cath Lab experience
Equipment Experience
Artis Zee C-Arm
Impella

First-time travelers will not be considered
Iowa Radiology License is highly preferred but may be obtained after offer acceptance
Hospital-provided light blue scrubs
Orientation dates available: September 8 or September 14

Treva Workforce Job ID #68999. Pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
