Job Summary

Perform high-quality MRI examinations using advanced imaging technology to assist physicians in diagnosing a wide range of medical conditions. Ensure patient safety, produce exceptional diagnostic images, and collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to deliver outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic MRI examinations
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Administer contrast agents when appropriate
Produce high-quality diagnostic images
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
Follow MRI safety, infection control, and department protocols
Required Qualifications
Active MRI Technologist license/certification as required
Current ARRT (MRI) Certification (if required by state/facility)
Current BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
Previous acute care hospital experience
Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards
Experience administering contrast media
Excellent patient care and communication skills
