Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and physician orders
Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing function
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including PTs, OTs, nurses, and physicians
Educate patients, caregivers, and families on treatment strategies and home programs
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility guidelines
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist License
Familiarity with EMR Documentations
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
