VIVIAN — CNA NIGHT SHIFT
Psychiatric CNA – Travel Contract – Nights | Pueblo, CO
Orientation Start Dates: 1st and 3rd Monday every month
24-Week Contract
Compensation & Schedule
48-Hour Schedule
- $20.00/hour + $500 weekly travel stipend for eligible travelers
- $1,540 gross weekly pay
- 48 hours guaranteed
36/48 Flex Schedule
- $19.00/hour + $500 weekly travel stipend for eligible travelers
- $1,184 gross on 36-hour weeks
- $1,488 gross on 48-hour weeks
36-Hour Schedule
- $18.00/hour + $500 weekly travel stipend for eligible travelers
- $1,148 gross weekly pay
All schedules consist of 12-hour shifts. This posting is for night-shift opportunities; however, final shift, schedule, and unit assignment are determined by the facility based on operational needs. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Candidates must be flexible regarding their assigned schedule.
Position Overview
SpectrumACS, a division of American Correctional Solutions, is hiring experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for a travel assignment at a state inpatient psychiatric facility in Pueblo, Colorado.
This facility provides care for adult forensic and civil behavioral health populations in a secure, team-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Monitor and document patient behavior and safety concerns
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
- Report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Participate in MANDT crisis management and restraint training
Requirements
- Active Colorado CNA certification required prior to start
- Minimum one year of qualifying inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health CNA experience within the last five years
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Experience in secure, forensic, or inpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Candidates who have worked at CMHHIP within the previous 6 months are not currently eligible for this assignment
