Description
Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments. These guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked.
Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret tests and procedures to assess and manage patient care in collaboration with healthcare team members.
- Work autonomously in various clinical settings to administer respiratory care protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR-AHA and NRP certification required.
- RRT with 2+ years of related work experience required.
- Certification to manage artificial airways, mechanical ventilation, administer aerosolized medications, and provide oxygen therapy.
- NICU experience required; some pediatric experience considered.
- Delivery room experience preferred.
- Experience in level 2 and 3 NICU/Special Care Nursery settings.
Additional Information:
- No local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 miles from the facility).
- Compliance starts 4 weeks out.
- Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday).
- Candidates must provide dates and times available for interviews at the time of submission.
- All requests for time off must be presented at the time of submission.
- Travelers who have worked for specific facilities within the last six months will not be accepted; they must be separated from the facility for six months to be considered.
