Position Overview

We are seeking a professional to join the Medical/Surgical/Telemetry (MedSurg/Tele) unit within the Med Surg Float Pool. This role requires flexibility to float between all Med Surg Tele units.

Schedule

• Night shifts: 12 hours, from 7 PM to 7 AM
• 36 hours per week available
• 1 weekend shift per week or 2 weekend shifts every other weekend
• Must work at least 1 holiday per contract

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in acute med surg/tele
• For non-U.S. candidates: 2 years of U.S. work experience required
• Preferred: 2 years of recent experience in acute med surg/tele

Licensing and Certifications

• Active NY RN license
• AHA BLS certification

Details of Engagement

• Duration: 16 weeks
• Charting: EPIC system
• Flexibility according to the facility's schedule is necessary
• Block booking may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Required to float to other units if needed
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
