Position Overview:
Join our dynamic Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a Level III Trauma Center with Med Surg Floating Required. Our 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU cares for a wide range of adult patients with complex conditions including substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric issues, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock. Attendings and residents are present in the ICU around the clock.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized care for patients within the ICU and float to Med/Surg units as needed. - Demonstrate strong telemetry skills, with the ability to read tele strips. - Adapt to rotating day shifts as necessary; night shift does not rotate. - Engage with a patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 in the ICU, and up to 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to Med/Surg areas.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of continuous experience in Adult ICU, preferably in a MICU setting. - Competency in telemetry required. - Proficient use of the EPIC EMR Charting System. - Active Massachusetts RN License. - Current AHA BLS & ACLS certifications.
