Description

Level I Trauma and large hospital experience is required. The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support across multiple campuses. Team members may be floated to a variety of units, including Observation, Med Surg, PCU, and IMC. Occasionally, they may be floated to the ED or PACU to manage Adult Health patients with inpatient orders awaiting assignment to a unit. Notably, Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments in Arizona facilities.

Candidates must clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept on their cover page, including locations, departments, and relevant experience. Flexibility in these areas can expedite offer placement. Candidates must start promptly or within one week and have a cap on their Requested Time Off (RTO).

Submission Requirements:

  • Minimum of 24 months of recent PCU experience within the past 12 months.
  • Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
  • No disciplinary actions on a state license to practice.
  • Valid driver's license to verify residency.
  • Travel experience is highly preferred.

Profile Requirements:

  • Complete cover page specific to the submission.
  • Resume detailing all facilities, departments worked, trauma levels, and bed capacity.
  • PCU skills checklist completed in the last 12 months.
  • Verification of an active license to practice (recent within 30 days).
  • ACLS and BLS certifications from an approved vendor.
  • Must adhere to all background check standards.

Certifications required include ACLS and BLS from the AHA. Arizona state licenses are applicable.
