Description
CT Technologists support interventional procedures for minimally invasive, image-guided interventions. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, sterile scrub, and circulating in radiology and OR settings. On-call required for procedures.
Unit Description:
Located in a vibrant medical environment with a dynamic Interventional Radiology (IR) division. The IR staff collaborate with a team of advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, and tech assistants to deliver a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. Technologists cover clinical areas including IR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures, Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions. They support diagnostic and interventional procedures such as angiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, and various interventions.
Required Education/Certification:
- Graduate of an AMA-approved program in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification
- Valid Massachusetts State Radiography License
- BLS certification
- CT Licensure for MA and ARRT required
