Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medical-Surgical unit. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, assessing and monitoring vital signs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
• Perform routine checks and ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records.
• Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of registered nursing staff.
• Monitor and report changes in patients' symptoms or condition to the nursing staff.
• Assist with discharge planning and patient education.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN license
• Previous experience in a medical-surgical unit is preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
