Description

Pediatric Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Schedule:
- Monday - Thursday, straight nights
- 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. (40 hours) or 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. (48 hours)
- No weekends, no on-call

Complete Description:

Join a multidisciplinary team specializing in pediatric care across various specialties, including general surgery, urology, dental, oral and maxillofacial surgery, neurosurgery, plastics, burns, ENT, and orthopaedics. Must either be a Certified Surgical Technician or meet New York State requirements as per Public Health Law 2824. Pediatric experience is beneficial.

Job Requirements:

Hold a Tech License (New York License ONLY)
Two years of experience in an operating room setting, with experience in level 1 trauma centers preferred
Proficient in scrubbing and circulating
Two years of pediatric experience

Certification(s):

BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
