Description

Position Overview

This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in providing specialized care for patients, specifically those up to age 25, in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting. Applicants must have 18 months of recent pediatric experience.

Key Requirements

18 months of permanent experience in the specified specialty prior to travel assignments.
Experience in epilepsy monitoring.
Valid Ohio or Compact State License.
Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
Proficiency in EKGs and the use of inotropes.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred.

Additional Information

Must work at least every other holiday.
ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate will be completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required on both assessments.
Hours worked will be submitted through the designated platform.
